LWCP – The Fun Continues
The fourth set of Living Water Composition Project songs was smaller than any of the previous three years; in fact, it was only slightly more than half the numeric output of the year before and only a third of the second year. As far as I could tell, however, the compositional quality continued to improve, and so these six songs were good additions to our repertoire.
Even as the songs continued to come, God provided the musical wherewithal to minister with them. The 1992-1993 season was remarkable in that Living Water had never (at least in my experience) been as strong as we were that year, and so it was a joyful challenge to learn and to sing some difficult repertoire. Even more, though, the level of ability we had lent itself well to the total ministry because it was then even easier to concentrate on bringing glory to God.
This season saw the beginning of our concert ministry. The Lord provided us opportunities to sing at the Nemecs’ place (the “Concert On The Hill”) as well as Livermore First Baptist Church (twice!). As a result of the first Livermore concert, we had the additional blessing of seeing God use our ministry to encourage them to start a youth choir of their own!
