Here’s what we offer:
- Versatility. Our repertoire for eight handbells includes worship, classical, and folk/international pieces suitable for worship services, concerts, weddings, memorial services, and other events.
- Experience. We have over seventy years of handbell experience between us, and have played in large and small groups in many places. We’re a married duet team specializing in “eight-bell” music of our own creation, and have had the privilege of setting a new standard for this expression of the ringing art.
- Flexibility. We can prepare music for practically any time and place, and can play a few pieces in a Sunday service, several hours of background music at a corporate event, or a full-length concert or practically any length. Because there are only two of us, we can set up in a space of only 7′ by 8′, something that would be impossible for a conventional bell choir.
- Versatility. We have lots of music, from hymns to wedding music to classical pieces to folk tunes. Our Christmas playlist is particularly extensive, taking well over two hours to play!
- Mobility. We are different from most handbell ensembles in that we can perform in a very small space. If we can drive to the venue, we can bring everything in our car. If we have to fly to where you are, we’ll need you to provide a suitable table and music stand.
- Fun and excitement. Got handbells? If you do, we’d be happy to lead a workshop or class to teach your ringers. Larry also is an experienced handbell conductor, having directed at handbell events for a number of years.
