In this charming sixteenth-century French carol Bring a Torch, Jeanette Isabella, a young girl is sent to bring a torch/candle to bring light to the stable where the Christ Child sleeps.

I love your arrangements. Since Covid and a recent move of a family that had 5 ringers in what was once a 3-5 octave handbell choir, your arrangements are very appealing for the smaller group we now have. We have done some of your arrangements and I am going to talk to our director about getting some 8 or 12 bell pieces, at least for Christmas. My friend and I are the only ones that can do 4 in hand/Shelley ringing. We currently have 5 ringers, 6 if our director plays, but he’d rather direct/listen or will do a piano accompaniment if the music calls for it. Thank you for your wonderful arrangements and performances.
