Still, Still, Still is a Christmas lullaby that reminds us that the Christ Child sleeps, and that He sleeps under the watchful eyes of the angels of heaven.
Still, still, still, One can hear the falling snow. For all is hushed, The world is sleeping, Holy Star its vigil keeping. Still, still, still, One can hear the falling snow. Sleep, sleep, sleep, Dream, dream, dream, George K. Evans |

Does this version (12 bells) of Still, Still, Still come without piano music? Also, is there a sample of a few measures of how this music piece is played and what bells are being used for this piece. AM

Hi Anneliese,
Our arrangement of Still, Still, Still for twelve bells accompanied by piano only comes with the piano part, and as the piano plays the melody part of the time the bell part might not work on its own. However, we do have an eight-bell arrangement (with just bells).
We also have a number of unaccompanied twelve-bell arrangements. All of them are for white key bells from C5 to G6, with a second transposed version for F5-to-C7 (if you prefer what some call “normal bell assignments”).
While we don’t provide sample scores of our music, we do post a video with each piece for 8 or 12 bells so that you can see and hear them.
Thanks for your interest in Choraegus. Please get in touch again if you have more questions!

Hi Larry and Carla,
Wondering what level you might label this piece. It’s a favorite of mine and I love your arrangement here. Beautiful piece. I have six ringers this Christmas, all with some music background, but with limited handbell experience. And I a really green director. Would this work for a level 1+/2- group?
Thanks,
Julie Hunziker

Hi Julie!
Our twelve-bell arrangement of Still, Still, Still corresponds to an AGEHR Level of about 2-, because it’s in 4/4 and the smallest note (for the bells) is an eighth note. You’re blessed to have ringers with previous musical background, so this piece should come together nicely!
Happy Ringing!
Larry
