Joshua 24:15

Choral score: $25.00 US
Accompaniment track: $10.00 US

The Scripture reference for this song is Joshua 24:15, and it’s the clue. The message is an essential one for all generations, and it’s presented in a fusion style which combines some distinctly Seventies harmonies with some Nineties rhythms. It seems to be the perfect milieu for the message: a direct punchy, gutty take-no-prisoners approach.

Some years after this song was released, Josh become the Valley Church junior high pastoral intern, and ministered by setting an example of Christian commitment for the young people of the church.

2002: Josh is still setting the example! He’s one of the pastors at his church. Some of the other guys have found out about this song. So they’ve downloaded the MIDI tracks and play them when he walks by their doors…

You’ve got to make a choice each day,
Will you follow the Lord, or some other way?
The devil’s tryin’ to point your shoes
Right off the path the Lord would choose.

You must choose to serve the Lord,
For to you His love has been outpoured,
You must fight the battle on His side,
So His name will be upraised, and praised, and raised,
and never denied.

You’ve got to calculate the price
Of being a living sacrifice,
You’ve got to give the Lord your ways,
Why don’t you do it now, today?

You must choose to serve the Lord,
For to you His love has been outpoured,
You must fight the battle on His side,
So His name will be upraised, and praised, and raised,
and never denied.

Note: Because the accompaniment is heavily percussion-dependent, you’ll want to purchase the accompaniment track to go with the choral score!
